When Taylor and Michael tied the knot on November 3rd, they crafted a wedding day that was equal parts heartfelt, lively, and unforgettable. From their sacred ceremony at The Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London to a reception that had guests dancing until the last note at The Butte Des Morts Country Club in Appleton, every moment of their day was carefully planned and beautifully executed.

Taylor and Michael exchanged vows in the beautiful and historic Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Surrounded by friends and family, the ceremony was a touching celebration of their love and faith.

Guests were treated to an inviting cocktail hour in the stunning foyer on the second level of The Butte Des Morts Country Club. The playlist? An eclectic and refreshing mix of genres reflecting Taylor and Michael’s diverse tastes, featuring:

A Gorgeous Setting

The ballroom was nothing short of spectacular. With floral arrangements designed by the talented Lisa Ziemer, the room radiated warmth and elegance.

Grand Introductions with a Twist

The energy hit a high point when the bridal party entered to the “Bulls Theme” (yes, the iconic Chicago Bulls intro) that seamlessly transitioned into “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates. When Taylor and Michael made their entrance, the room erupted with excitement and love.

Dinner and First Dances: Intimate and Heartfelt Moments

As soon as the couple cut into their gorgeous cake (crafted by Manderfields Bakery), they took to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Their song, “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett, was a beautiful reflection of their love and dreams for the future.

Father-Daughter Dance: Taylor shared a heartfelt moment with her father, Brian, dancing to “Father & Daughter” by Paul Simon.

Mother-Son Dance: Michael and his mom, Jill, swayed to “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins, a deeply emotional and meaningful choice.

During dinner, guests enjoyed heartfelt toasts and a scrolling slideshow featuring cherished moments from Taylor and Michael’s journey together.

A Fun and Engaging Evening

To keep the energy high, Taylor and Michael incorporated a bridal party scavenger hunt, which had guests laughing and connecting. It’s always fun to see creative activities like this that keep everyone engaged and smiling. The Dance Floor was Packed All Night Long!

When it was time to kick off the dancing, the floor opened with a bang to “Shout” by Otis Day and the Knights—and it didn’t empty until the last song! From start to finish, the music kept everyone moving, with some standout moments:

“Dixieland Delight” by Alabama: A crowd favorite that had everyone singing along.

“Family Tradition” by Hank Williams Jr.: This track brought guests together in celebration.

“Downtown” by Macklemore: A special dedication to Taylor from her Catawba classmates that brought down the house.

A Grand Finale to Remember

The night ended on a high note with “Piano Man” by Billy Joel. The crowd, full of energy, chanted for one more song, so we obliged with a reprise of “Dixieland Delight.” It was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable evening.
