Saturday, November 9, 2024 was a beautiful day in Oshkosh, Wisconsin when Amanda & Alex said ‘I do’ at the stunning Gibson Social Club. Their wedding was filled with love, laughter, and an unforgettable dance floor that was PACKED FROM BEGINNING TO END, brought to life Sound Sensations Entertainment, DJs, Nick C & Ed E.

Alex & Amanda's Love Story

The newlywed's met on Tinder, back in 2014.  Alex proposed on a hiking trip in Glacier National Park out West, a total surprise to Amanda! Alex and Amanda always dreamed of a wedding that celebrated their love for an ecclectic mix of some of the classics early, mixed with their favorite EDM and Club favorites as the night progressed.   Their special day at the Gibson Social Club in Oshkosh, Wisconsin was the perfect mix of romance and fun!

The Gibson Social Club

Located in the heart of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, The Gibson Social Club is a favorite for couples looking for an industrial vibe, centrally located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Oshkosh.  It's stunning thoughtfully designed decor and historic brick, made it the perfect backdrop for Alex & Amanda's celebration.

The Ceremony

In front of their family & friends, Alex & Amanda exchanged heartfelt vows.  The couple chose "Shake the Frost" by Tyler Childers for Alex & his mom Beth, along with Amanda's mom Eileen and Amanda's two brothers to walk down the aisle to.  The wedding party entered to "Turning Page" by Sleeping at Last. Amanda is a Lord of the Rings fan, so she came down the aisle to "In Dreams" from Lord of the Rings.   After the kiss, the two blissfully departed the ceremony to "All Your'n" by Tyler Childers.

The Reception

The reception at The Gibson Social Club was all about fun and celebration.  Oshkosh DJs, Sound Sensations Entertainment decked out the perimeter of the room with Amber uplighting!  Their Sound Sensations DJs, Nick & Ed introduced everyone for the Grand March to Good Times Roll- Big Gigantic. DJ Ed and Nick C released tables to the buffet with fun song snippets that the tables had to guess.  So much FUN!

Sound Sensations Entertainment opened the reception dance after the feature dances with a traditional Nigerian Song for her father, followed by a snowball slow dance to bring everyone out to the dance floor.  Amanda & Alex worked with us to create a playlist that truly reflected their personalities with a blend of traditional classics early, culminating in a Club Style dance party as the night progressed.  The dance floor was packed from beginning to end! Enhancing the Experience: Additional Services

Beyond our DJ services, we provided a fun photo booth for Amanda & Alex, and all of their guests that allowed guests to take home fun pictures from the evening.  There is nothing like getting a picture printed out on-the-spot to remember the night by!   Jocelyne, the photo booth attendant got so many couples into the booth all night, there were so many laughs, so much fun and so many giggles that added an extra layer of entertainment to the celebration.  At the end of their celebration, Alex & Amanda received a scrapbook filled with pictures and messages from all of their guests!
