On July 15, 2017, family and friends from across the country gathered at the stunning Blust Lakefront property to celebrate the love story of Emma Riskey and Jesse Ludema. With the serene lake breeze and breathtaking scenery as their backdrop, Emma and Jesse’s wedding was a day to remember—filled with faith, joy, and unforgettable moments.
A Wisconsin Wedding Ceremony Rooted in Faith
Emma floated down the aisle with grace, as if carried by the gentle lake wind. It was a moment of pure magic, with the beautiful strains of "Over the Rainbow/Simple Gifts" by The Piano Guys setting the tone. At the heart of their ceremony was their shared faith, with Christ as the central focus. Surrounded by love and support, Emma and Jesse vowed to build their future together on a foundation of faith and love.
Gorgeous Reception Under the Tent
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed under a grand white tent adorned with stunning floral arrangements from Ludema's Floral and Garden. The setting was elegant yet inviting, perfectly complementing the joyous atmosphere of the day. The meal, catered by Olive Garden, featured a delicious menu of Chicken Alfredo and spaghetti with meatballs, satisfying guests of all ages.
Dancing, Laughter, and Joy
As the reception transitioned into the evening, the dance floor became the heart of the celebration. The bridal party kicked things off with an entertaining scavenger hunt that quickly had guests of all ages joining in the fun. Laughter echoed through the tent as everyone celebrated together.
Emma and Jesse’s first dance was nothing short of enchanting. They moved gracefully to Ed Sheeran’s "Perfect," ending with a grand dip that brought cheers from their loved ones. The night continued with a packed dance floor, where guests danced the night away despite the storm clouds that eventually rolled in.
