We recently had the privilege of being a part of Francesca and Ed’s beautiful wedding at Mystic Ponds Estate in Junction City Wisconsin, and we can’t wait to share the details of this unforgettable day.

The Perfect Setting at Mystic Ponds Estate in Junction City, Wisconsin

Mystic Ponds Estate, with its stunning outdoor patio and rustic barn, set the perfect stage for Francesca and Ed’s wedding celebration. Their reception cocktail hour and dance took place under the stars on the outdoor patio, while dinner was enjoyed inside the charming barn. The combination of natural beauty and rustic elegance made for an enchanting celebration that guests will remember for years.  Nick C & Ed were their DJs for the night.  At Mystic Ponds Estate, Sound Sensations Entertainment always uses two systems, to create a seamless experience for guests.   One set up on the patio for the Cocktail Hour and Dance, and one system set up in the barn for the dinner.   

A Sparkling Entrance & First Dance Moment

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was Francesca and Ed’s grand sparkler entrance, which had their guests lined along both sides of the patio, so magical and what a way to start their night of dancing!  As they walked through a glowing tunnel of sparklers, the couple made their way to the dance floor for their first dance, God Bless the Broken Road by the Rascal Flatts—one of those magical moments that only happens once, and we were thrilled to be there to witness it.

Keeping the Party Going: A Custom Playlist

To keep the energy high and the celebration flowing, we curated a special playlist tailored to Francesca and Ed’s tastes. The cocktail hour music was a perfect mix of 80s, 90s, and early 2000s hits, setting the tone for a lively and nostalgic vibe. Later in the evening, the dance floor was packed with guests, dancing to their favorite tunes as the couple’s personalized playlist kept everyone moving and grooving all night long.

Fun and Games: The Shoe Game

For a bit of fun and laughter, we incorporated the popular Shoe Game—an entertaining activity that had the bride and groom answering lighthearted questions while guests cheered them on. The fun-filled atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening of joy and laughter.

We ask a series of fun questions, and they answer by raising the shoe that corresponds to their response (e.g., "Who is the better cook?"). It’s a lighthearted way to engage guests and add some fun to your reception!
