Mikayla and Nick chose the breathtaking Heidel House in Green Lake, WI, as the backdrop for their wedding day. With its picturesque views of Green Lake, elegant spaces, and charming ambiance, the venue perfectly matched their vision of a romantic yet lively celebration.
A Ceremony Full of Love & Personal Touches
Mikayla and Nick exchanged heartfelt vows right next to the water with The Heidel House resort behind them. The couple infused their personalities into the ceremony with a mix of traditional elements and personal touches, including custom playlist for ceremony and live musicians.

The Reception: Dancing, Laughter, and Unforgettable Moments
When it came time for the reception, the energy was electric. Mikayla & Nick's celebration was in the lower level small ballroom with their closest family and friends. As their DJ and MC, Ed from Sound Sensations Entertainment worked closely with Mikayla and Nick to craft a reception timeline that kept the evening flowing seamlessly. From the high-energy grand entrance that was unique to them featured an uptempo edit of "Keeping Your Head Up" by Birdy for the bridesmaids, and "Birdland" by Maynard Ferguson for the Groomsmen, finally Mikayla +Nick entered into the ballroom to "Someone To You" by Banners. They went right into their first dance before dinner, which was "Miracle" by Riley Clemmons. Sound Sensations Entertainment collaborated with Mikayla & Nick, every moment was carefully curated to reflect the couple’s style and preferences. Instead of guests clinking glasses for kisses, they opted to have their guests share their favorite story or memory about the newlyweds!

A Packed Dance Floor All Night Long
Mikayla and Nick wanted a reception where their guests could let loose and celebrate, and that’s exactly what happened! The dance floor was packed from the first beat to the final encore. The personalized playlist that included their ecclectic favorites, as well as their favorite Christian tunes. After sunset pictures, and a photo dash around the room for pictures, the rest of the dance kicked off with Mikayla's dance with her father, Paul to "My Girl" by The Temptations, and Mother/Son Dance which featured a Mashup of True Colors with Brown Eyed Girl.
